Fiesole (Florence). The whole Sant’Ignazio building complex was born as an eighteenth-century Jesuit monastery, later declined in Villa Machiavelli and Villa Covoni through the wise preservation of its spaces. Villa Covoni it’s an elegant historical dwelling sited in via Benedetto da Maiano right on the hillside of Florence, where personalities such as Herman Hesse and Le Corbusier were hooked by the beauty of Fiesole’s houses and the luxuriant nature of Dante’s city.

Since the fourteenth century, Fiesole has been considered one of the most exclusive suburbs around Florence.
